Artist Statement
“Fine Art - Work In Progress”
The solo art show at the "Dufferin Museum and Archives" in Dufferin County was a great success with the message being understood and appreciated by many people.
I chose "Work In Progress" as my working title for the show since it reflects my ongoing quest to put visuals to aesthetic sensibilities. I am moved by the incredible atmosphere of landscapes to the point that when studying the light, form, texture and colour I feel the need to bring out my take on the life that surrounds me. As I work with each image there is a gradual heartbeat, unique to each creation that evolves and adds one more piece to the puzzle that is me. Visualizing what I see in a scene is my desire and I hope you enjoy this part of my journey.

I am always inspired by artists such as Umberto Boccioni who said “There is neither painting, nor sculpture, nor music, nor poetry. The only truth is creation.“
